History of the Department
Methodical work is carried out for the purpose of providing and improving the educational process, development and introduction of new technologies of teaching, raising pedagogical skills of the teaching staff. The teaching and methodological work at the department "Accounting and Auditing" is carried out according to plan. The plan of educational and methodical seminars of the department is updated annually, analyzed and approved in accordance with the changes in the field of education. Scientific-methodical seminars performed by the department include in their plans and systems for further improvement of the effectiveness of quality management systems. In accordance with the plan of the department were organized scientific-methodological seminars, updating the topics of diploma work in the formation of their relevance and science. The purpose of educational and methodical work: • scientific and methodological support for the implementation of educational programs; • development of means and forms of application of educational process and methods of introduction and improvement of new technologies; • Ensuring the development of creative thinking, qualifications and professional skills of teachers.

Organization of international cooperation
From 11.11.2019 to 15.11.2019 teachers of Tashkent Agrarian University organized a master class on "IFRS reform: integration into the world system" for 45 hours on the basis of SKSU named after M. Auezova under the program of academic mobility. The following teachers received certificates of advanced training: Seitbekova ST, Sarkulova NK, Satenov BI, Turebaeva Zh.K., Dzhumanov AM, Atenova KA, Abdykulova DB, Akhmetova SS, Tulegenova R.Zh., Tulebaeva VT, Karibov VM, Uskenov M., Zhadigerova GA.

March 19, 2021 "What is Kazakhstan waiting for after the pandemic?" Teachers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing took part in the discussion of the discussion of Nobel Laureate Mike Spence. The meeting was held on the YouTube channel in two languages.
The online meeting was held on the basis of M. Auezov University. The meeting was chaired by French economist Marc Uzan, director of the Bretton Woods Reconstruction Committee. During the discussion, questions were asked and hotly debated among the participants of the online lecture. The lecture of the laureate is the transformation of the economies of developing countries and the digitization of business as part of the global economic process. With regard to the economy of Kazakhstan, Mr. Spence focused on sustainable income and comprehensive business support in the energy sector.
Educational-scientific production complex work and practice
The purpose of the practice is the deepening and consolidation of knowledge, the acquisition of necessary practical skills in the field of organization and technical accounting, as well as the analysis of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise. The direct participation of students in the life of the organization allows you to strengthen the practical skills that meet the qualification requirements of the specialist. Being in a professional environment, students assimilate, first of all, the methodology of the organization of accounting and auditing. Practice provides continuity and continuity in the study of theoretical and practical material. Students form and develop professional knowledge in the field of accounting, analysis and auditing, acquire the necessary professional competencies, deeply acquire practical skills, carry out the collection, analysis and generalization of science.

On February 24-25, 2023, the IV International Distance Olympiad on International Financial Reporting Standards was held at the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, organized by the Department of Accounting and Auditing under the auspices of the Union of Accountants and Accounting Organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Olympiad consisted of two rounds: 1st - testing, 2nd - solving situational problems in an online format
The first round on February 24, 2023 is the completion of test tasks, which include 30 questions with one correct answer. The time allotted for completing this task is 30 minutes.
The second round on February 25 is "Solving cases". Participants who have successfully passed the test are admitted to the second round of the Olympiad.
The results of the Olympiad were announced on 03/01/2023, and certificates were issued on 03/05/2023.

Kassymov Nurdaulet, a graduate student of the specialty 7M04132 - "Accounting and Auditing", is one of the 45 participants who won the competition out of 350 participants of the International Winter School of Young Leaders "RUDN YOUTH FORUM: Leaders of Asia 2021" in RUDN.Moscow.
Out of 350 participants from all over the CIS, only 45 participants, whose portfolios scored the most points, were able to pass the offline stage of the winter school of young leaders of the RUDN.
The lectures were as interesting, informative and relevant as possible. They were devoted to topics such as:
